Hello golfers,

Thank you to everyone who came along and had a go at hitting the green on our draw night on Friday. Many of you managed to walk away with prizes and the overall winner was Roz Spooner who managed to hit it to 7ft using our new SkyTrak launch monitor.



Lady Captain's Drive In

Congratulations to Wendy Hill on her Lady Captain's Drive in, Wendy managed to hit the ball to 56ft on the 18th hole and was very well supported during her coffee morning.

Winter Order of Merit

The Winter Order of Merit continues until the end of March and there are plenty of opportunities to catch Rod Garland at the top. The course has been holding up really well this winter and I don't think I've ever seen it looking so tidy.

 

Course Maintenance

This week the Greenkeepers have filled the front right bunker on the 15th hole and have been doing some re-shaping to the bunker on the right of the green (see photos below).

   

 

Captain and Professional Challenge

If you would like to take on myself and Alan then please look out for the sign-up sheet on the Professional's board.

We are happy to take on all challengers in any format they like and all of our winnings will go to the Keech Children's Hospice.

Hannah Burke update

Hannah is currently playing down under and starts her first event in New Zealand this week. Chris did not travel to caddy for her during this trip, but she does have a friendly face on the bag. George Light who is currently doing some traveling around Australia has met up with her and will caddy for Hannah for the next few events.
