The Iceman wins a new set of clubs for Frosty!

What a terrific week of golf at this year's Open Championship with Henrik Stenson winning his first Major and taking the record for the all time lowest score in The Open. Stenson, nicknamed "Iceman", finished three shots clear of past champion Phil Mickleson who finished 11 shots in front of the rest of the field, which is truly amazing in such tough conditions. Iceman also came through for our Open Sweep winner Steve Frost who has now won a new set of Custom Fit Titleist AP1 or AP2 irons, not bad for £10.

Vice Captain's Day Winner...

Congratulations to our Vice Captain's Day winner Andy Mcfayden who scored a fantastic 41 points on Saturday, winning by three points from Terry Hearn. I think everyone would agree that our Vice Captain, Bob Cornish, did a great job on the day and we can't wait for Captain's Day next year!

The Tigers are cruising… Again!

The EHGC Tigers Team are having another magnificent year in the league having made it eight from eight with a 3.5 - 1.5 victory away at Aldenham. With eight straight wins they have all but booked themselves a place in the semi-finals and hopefully the final which will be played at Aldenham on Friday, 30 September. Well done to the team and good luck for the semis.
