A new era begins at EHGC...

Congratulations to our new Captain Mr Bob Cornish. Bob hosted a fantastic carvery lunch after his drive-in last Sunday, in an excellent welcoming speech Bob announced that he has chosen the Dreamflight Charity this year and more information on the charity can be found here. Good luck this year Bob and I look forward to beating some challengers in the Captain/Pro Matches.

   

Thank you to our outgoing Captain Mr Alan Thomas. I've had a great year with Alan and have enjoyed some really great days of golf with him. He raised an amazing amount of money for Keech this year and has worn his heart on his sleeve throughout 2016. My prediction for Alan is a Tuesday swindle Order of Merit win this year.

 

Sunningdale Foursomes

This year myself and Chris Foster, who has recently turned professional, decided to enter the Sunningdale Foursomes. We received the email and phone call this week that our entry was accepted and we tee off around the old course at 10.20am vs. Terry Crawley and Jamie Redknapp on Tuesday, 14 March. Chris will be able to use a buggy, but I think we will have a few caddies instead, if anyone wants to come along and watch they are more than welcome just let me know.

 

Big News

A big announcement just made states that Tiger Woods has joined the TaylorMade team for 2017. Tiger also returns to action this week and I feel extremely sorry for Lizzie as Gregg will be glued to the golf all week...
