Most people’s worst nightmare, two Steve Drewes! Our Captain and Mr Drewe were narrowly defeated by Woburn Captain and Mr Drewe on the last hole around the Marquis Course at Woburn, they will be playing a return match at East Herts later in the year when hopefully then can reverse the outcome. Congratulations to Ray Reeve and Jonathan Bayley on winning the Centenary Greensomes last weekend with 40 points, there was some confusion on the outcome due to greensomes being played under the old traditional format of half combined handicap and the computer using the new 0.4 from lower and 0.6 form higher. Under the old format which was advertised on the day, the winners piped Charie and Saunders on countback.
