Pro-Am - A big thank you
I just wanted to let you all know the results from last Fridays EHGC Pro-Am event. I wanted to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who helped and contributed to making it one of the best Pro-Am days we have witnessed at the club. I wanted to say a few special thank you’s: To my staff for all the continued professional help and support in not just the running of the pro-am but in all aspects of their work. Thank you and congratulations to Neil and his greenstaff on presenting the best-kept golf course I've witnessed in 17 years of being here. The attention to detail was phenomenal. And Mr Stuart Storey who hosted our live Auction, which was not an easy job with so many jovial people in the room. Our goal was to have some fun with the hope of raising some much-needed funds for our two chosen charities, the Willow and Isabel Hospice. This event only went ahead due to the generosity and support of our main Sponsors, Weston Homes, Rimex Metals (UK), Bird and Wedge, Planned Action, BPC Land & New Homes, London Diamond Drilling and Aspect Window Films, Connect Scaffolding.
My special thanks also go to the Isabel Hospice team, the Willow team, Fiona Field, Kevin Field, Pat Mulvey, Mr and Mrs Childs, the Weston Homes team, The Ice Cream Cab, Bernie the Fish, East Herts Golf Club and its members. I think the shotgun start was a success and the speed of play was much better then in recent years. If you would like to register early for next year, then please let me know ASAP. I would also welcome any feedback you may have from Friday so that we can strive to make next year’s event even better. Again, thank you ALL for the support; it would be nothing without you guys.
