This week we have launched our new website and email newsletter. My team and I hope you like it. This new website and email is fully responsive in design. Irrespective of what digital device you are using the content will adjust accordingly, giving a perfect display every time. This will allow you to read our weekly words of wisdom from the comfort of, for example your sofa, office or even a train.
We would love you to explore my website and investigate the tips and drills, product catalogue and interact with any features we have on the website.

Our aim is to provide you with weekly relevant golfing related content. From product reviews to coaching tips, we want to explain how our experiences and skills as PGA professionals can help you get the most out of your game and ensure you make the right choices when buying golf equipment. Finally, and of course most importantly, we want to keep you up-to-date with what is happening here at our East Herts Golf Club.
Short game academy
Gregg's secrets of the short game classes have proven to be a real success. All three sessions this month have been fully booked and all participants gained a new insight into chipping, pitching and bunker play. Dates for more classes in June will be released soon!
Coronation Cup
We had a glorious day for the Coronation Cup this year. I felt it was one of the best days we have had at the club for some time. The atmosphere in the bar and on the balcony in the afternoon was amazing. We had Chris Edwards out on the course giving live commentary of the players in the last few groups (#chrisonthecourse). Looks like there could be a new career beckoning for Mr Edwards. The results from the day where that Liam Parfitt followed in his older brothers footsteps to win The Coronation Cup and Matthew Bennett followed in his father's footsteps to win the Tiger Trophy. We had a turnout of 55 players who completed 36 holes of medal play. The course was in excellent condition and the greens were rolling beautifully.
Scratch and Thornton Cup
Congratulations on two scratch match wins and a Thornton cup win to our new scratch captain Kenneth Hayes. The next round of Thornton cup is at home on Sunday, 31 May against Basildon and all support is more than welcome on the day.
